Policy Statement
Here at MyTruDate, we want to build a community that not only respects, but celebrates authenticity. Our User Profiles Policy is designed to encourage profiles that put forth every person at their true best, both inside and out.
All users must post images that are authentic. Posting photos of another person or computer generated images (aka “bots”) and trying to pass them off as you (aka “catfishing”) is prohibited. Furthermore, all biographical information provided on a profile must be accurate. MyTruDate will not tolerate photos and/or language on a Profile that disrespects basic human dignity. Therefore, any content that is profane, violent, inappropriate, hateful, discriminatory, racist, or illegal is strictly prohibited. Images of minors are strongly discouraged on User Profiles. Research has revealed that single parents/legal guardians who post pictures of children on dating app profiles increase their risk of being targeted by child predators seeking access to those minors. As such, we encourage all users to keep child photos off the app altogether.
Action Taken
Upon discovery of a violation of this Policy, MyTruDate shall immediately block or remove any prohibited content from the User’s Profile and notify the User about the content’s removal and the reason for the removal. Depending on the severity of the offense, MyTruDate reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to warn the User of the violation, temporarily suspend the User’s account, and/or permanently ban the User from the MyTruDate Platform. Repeated warning for violations of this Policy may result in the permanent removal of a User from the MyTruDate Platform.
